Nvidia overtakes Microsoft to become

the most valuable corporation in the world.

A few days after surpassing Apple, the producer of the iPhone, to take second place in terms of value, Nvidia’s shares increased 3.5% to $135.58, increasing the company’s market capitalization by nearly $110 billion to $3.335 trillion.

The price of Nvidia’s shares increased by more than 3% on Tuesday, overtaking Microsoft to become the most valuable corporation in the world. Nvidia is a semiconductor manufacturer.
Nvidia’s market capitalization increased by almost $110 billion to $3.335 trillion as a result of a 3.5% increase in its shares to $135.58, just days after it surpassed iPhone manufacturer Apple to take the second place in terms of value.

In just nine months, the company’s market worth increased from $1 trillion to $2 trillion in February, and it took slightly more than three months to reach $3 trillion in June.
Microsoft’s stock market value was $3.317 trillion after a 0.45% decline in share price.

With a 1% decline in share price, Apple is now worth $3.286 trillion.

In contrast to Microsoft shares, which have increased by around 19% this year, Nvidia’s share price has nearly quadrupled thus far.
Nvidia’s 10-for-1 stock split last week made its highly valued shares more appealing to individual investors.

Optimism regarding the development of Artificial Intelligence (AI) technology has propelled the rise in Nvidia shares and a startling increase in its market worth during the previous year.

The Nasdaq and S&P 500 reached all-time highs along with the Nvidia stock price rise.

Based on LSEG statistics, Nvidia has emerged as the most traded business on Wall Street, with an average daily turnover of $50 billion, compared to about $10 billion for Apple, Microsoft, and Tesla. Currently, the chip manufacturer represents around 16% of the total S&P 500 company trade.

Since Nvidia’s AI chips are so much sought after and are seen to be far better than those of its rivals, there is a shortage of them. In the eyes of many investors, Nvidia is the biggest beneficiary of the recent surge in AI development.
